Our Mission

Greenwich Chaplaincy Services was founded in 1968 by the Greenwich Fellowship of Clergy to provide spiritual care to the residents, staff, and families at various senior care facilities in Greenwich, CT.

Skilled chaplains and trained volunteers work with residents, helping them to meet life’s challenges and changes. We offer a compassionate presence, supportive listening, prayers, scriptures, and sacraments, if requested.

In this mission, we are motivated by three core beliefs:

  • We believe that all people are spiritual as well as physical beings, and that spiritual care is integral to overall wellness.

  • We believe that those who can no longer live independently may especially need this spiritual care.

  • We believe that the staff and families who care for these persons also benefit from spiritual care.

Greenwich Chaplaincy Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 06-6104975).
