Bringing Meaningful, Spiritual Care
To Greenwich Seniors, their Families, and Caregivers
Since 1968
Our Service
At Greenwich Chaplaincy Services we provide meaningful spiritual and pastoral support to Greenwich seniors, their families, and caregivers. Our trained chaplains serve people who have experienced significant changes in their lives, such as a loss of independence, health challenges, and a new living environment. We meet people where they are, regardless of faith tradition, and we nurture connections in ways that are meaningful for each person.
Some of the ways in which we provide these services are:
We offer one-on-one pastoral support to residents and patients, helping them through the transitions and challenges of life.
We build community and relationships through supportive conversations, study, prayer, and music.
We organize and lead worship and learning opportunities for people of different faiths. These include: Catholic Mass and Rosary, Protestant worship, Jewish care visits, Bible Study, and special holiday programs.
We support the spiritual aspects of end-of-life care, including palliative and hospice care.
We provide spiritual support for families and staff at times of loss and bereavement. We also conduct bi-annual memorial services to honor departed loved ones.
We work with lay pastoral care volunteers from different faith-based communities to minister to our residents.
We partner with Greenwich clergy to support the pastoral needs of their congregants who live in the facilities we serve.
Greenwich Chaplaincy Services is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 06-6104975).
